I’m not a big user of primers but I was really keen to try this out because I absolutely love a dewy skin finish and also really enjoy adding in an extra layer of Hyaluronic Acid if I can.
The texture of MAC Studio Radiance Moisturizing + Illuminating Silky Primer is really nice. It has almost balmy quality that melts into the skin and feels really nourishing and cushiony.

It has a lovely illuminating effect and makes skin looks really juicy and plump. It actually looks lovely on its own so would be great for no makeup days as well as a primer.

Most of the foundations I have been using recently have pretty long wear, so it hard to tell if it extends wear. I do think it really helps with smooth application and everything glides on top effortlessly.
If you have a foundation that’s on the more matte end of the scale, like the new Estee Lauder Double Wear Sheer, it will absolutely make it more dewy and glowy without upsetting the wear time. It will be perfect if you have a foundation you like the performance of, but just want it to glow a little more.
Also, I had a little play with tapping it on top of foundation on the high points for a really natural looking glow, and it looks lovely. Just be careful to press and tap, rather than rub so that you don’t upset the makeup underneath.
