To the tune of Mexican gritos and a smooth background beat, Becky G and Karol G call out the liars and toxic partners they’ve been with in the past, demanding that their exes apologize for treating them badly. The video stars model Mia Khalifa and actor Angus Cloud, and the storyline is of a woman seeking revenge against her toxic boyfriend.
The kind of song you’d want to play on a girls’ night out, riding down the highway with the top down on the way to the club, “Mamiii” is packed with relatable lines that will make you feel like the badass lead in your own romantic drama. “No me vuelvas a llamar, que hasta boté el celular / De lo tóxico que eres, se volvió perjudicial,” Becky G sings, essentially telling her ex-lovers that she threw out her phone so they can’t call her anymore.
